Day 26

Nugget got the hang of the flying saucer quite quickly and was having fun - here he is practising. Is it my imagination or is he looking a little plump? I am not sure how chunky a full grown robo is supposed to look. His Dad was rather plump apparently.

. OH had the idea it might be nice to have a photo of Newt watching the FA cup, but of course Newt wasn't the slightest bit interested in sitting still watching TV.

I had just put some bedding from his old cage at the front and he seemed to notice that in the first video near the end

Do you think he prefers the barred cage. Is he exploring more/hiding less?

I think he needs time to adjust to the cage change CMB - he's about the same - never did see much of him! He clearly enjoyed being out of the cage though! When he's had a couple of weeks settling in time I'll try some taming again.

Newt and the football - I did have a photo of Newt on the arm of the sofa with the football on TV in the background but Newt was facing the wrong way. When I lifted him to turn him the other way he did the "I'm a contrary hamster" thing and kept turning his back on it lol. So I superimposed another photo of him in the right place
