Oh gosh those lambs are beautiful. It's a shame their welcome to the world has not been the best. Hope they thrive now and grow big and strong and the weather improves. How many have you got?

I've lost count now but I it's been about 5 or 6 a day so far so probably about 15. It will speed up by the end of next week and should be about 200 of them within 3 weeks. It's funny but they look bigger on the photos than they actually are! They do have quite long legs but are much smaller than they appear on the photos.

Just been catching up with this thread. Newt is a very talented hamster indeed looks like he a pro gamer and a master on the computer - it so sweet seeing him hogging the TV remote.

The lambs are so adorable - so sweet seeing the first lamb who was born with his mother. Sorry to hear that you have had a few lambs who needed special care in the Lamb hospital - pleased to hear that with both your OH and your care that has manage to help some regain their strength. I really loved the photo of the lamb with his head in the shoe rack probably wondering why their isn't any shoes that will his feet.
Sorry to hear that two didn't make it despite both your efforts to help them.
Hope everything will go well with the other lambs to be born!

Noisy and Floppy are lucky lambs with such excellent care. Good both are with Mum now. How has today gone? More lambs but born in the barn? could get extremely noisy in there...

Ha ha. They are all quiet really - except for Noisy who has a bleat like a foghorn. He's a lot quieter now he's with his Mum and feeding from her. Another poorly one in the barn today but he's doing ok.

Day 14

Noisy the lamb in the kitchen

Here's a short video of Noisy after he came round and climbed out of his box. You can see why he's called Noisy! He is clearly looking for his Mum and her milk. Don't worry he was given some milk straight after! He had a go at eating the fridge magnets and made it very clear he wanted something! It took us a few minutes to realise he was hungry as he'd been out for the count for about 5 hours and suddenly got up - plus he'd already been fed. This one has little horns on top of his head already - looks like he has eyes on top of his head From the moment he woke up he was very vocal! Stepson was convinced he could understand speech as he responded to everything you said to him! Back to hamsters tomorrow!

Ha, he really is noisy, see what you mean.
Bit of a change in the weather here. Sunny and warm. Hope it reaches you and the lambs quickly.

Weather improved a bit yes Sun on its way apparently. Excuse the kitchen in the video - it was bedlam that day. Another two lambs in the house today. Nugget has been hiding a lot - I think he can smell them!
