Aww!!!!! Gaby, you crack me up so much with your absolutely silly antics, lol. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your peanut so much. You're just too funny and look so adorable and extra fluffy in that great video of you eating, washing, and burping, lol. I have the largest smile on my face right now after seeing what you have been up to. I absolutely love your video and your hammy words.

Two days ago, I tried introducing Gaby to porridge, and she refused to even look at it! I let her free run around my room, and had a little porrige on a tiny plate, with mealworms and sunflower seeds on it. She walks up, picks the worms and seeds, ignores the porridge! When I tried feeding her when playing with me, she just avoids it again. I was like- "Give it a try girl, you're going to fall in love with it!" But she was more along the lines of "Meh".

I later placed some porrige for her in a small dish besides her food bowl before going to sleep. I assumed she'd eventually try it out. What I was not expecting to see in the morning was the dish untouched, with one tiny change - she kicked up a load of substrate onto the dish, essentially burying the dish with porridge! I guess that's Gaby's way of saying:
Uh uh! Not happening hooman. I don't eat porridge. Just get me my broccoli already!

Hahaha! Certainly the most epic hamtrum I've seen Gaby throw.
I just found a picture I accidentally snapped when recording Gaby's last video, and her expression though! Stop spying on me Hooman!

Lol, Gaby's reaction to her porridge! That is just too funny that she just picked out her sunflower seeds and mealworms and left the porridge untouched except for the addition of the substrate, lol. Adorable Gaby sure wants to have her opinions known. Sorry, Gaby, but I think your hamtrum is quite funny. It is definitely something that Eros has done in the past, and I could not help but to laugh at hers as well. I love her unamused expression in her latest pic.

Lol at Gaby and the porridge, that so reminds me of Master Harvey who turned his face away in disgust whenever I tried human porridge on him, the turning away and the glaring stare always had me laughing. However, he loved Heinz baby cream porridge.

I have found that my Russian hams haven't been too keen on wet foods like porridge until they get old then they seem to appreciate it a bit more & maybe aren't so fastidious about keeping their whiskers dry!

So turns out it's been over a month now since I last updated Gaby's thread.

This is not ok hooman. You should post about me everyday so that all my hammy friends out there can read about me!

Well. So there you go. You're up to speed with the discussion between Gaby and me. Gaby and I had to move to another new apartment over the past month. But Gaby seems to love the new place. She loves running all over my apartment, exploring all the little nooks and corners of it. She did manage to find a stash of walnuts close to her cage. I just sat there and watched what she'd do. In about a minute, she shredded the paper bag it was in and shoved her cute little cheeks with all the walnuts she could. And then comes straight back to me with the most innocent look on her face.

Gaby, Gaby, Gaby! What mischief have you been up to now?
*nom* *nom*
No, no mischief hooman. You've got a lovely place for to explore. Can you put me back in the cage a second? I'll be right back for more cuddles!

Hahaha! Must say, that was the most hilarious incident with her. She goes quickly to her nest, stashes all those nuts and comes back for more cuddles!

A lot more such fun stories for the days to come. But for now, here's a video I took of Gaby yesterday night. I told Gaby to run around so that I could follow her with a chase cam. But it seems she heard it chase the cam!
