Photo Month Thread - March 2018
Hello all,
I can't believe that we're into March already, particularly as it is feeling rather winter-y here at the moment.
I was planning to start the month off by posting a little bit of a reintroduction to myself and my hamily but in light of the current weather conditions, I thought I'd share a photo that I took this morning of Victoria 'looking' out of the hamster room at the funny white stuff.

Re: Photo Month Thread - March 2018
The snow got worse as the day went on and I'm glad I'd booked this week off of work as the buses have now been cancelled and the trains are either subject to huge delays or cancellation.
Since I posted the photo of Victoria, I just had to post a photo of James's disapproval of the snow...

Lovely pics and hams to start the month with Fluffagrams, much nicer than the weather anyway!
Poor James does not look impressed at all by the snow.

Re: Photo Month Thread - March 2018
So for today, I thought I'd post a little bit of a reintroduction about me.
My name is Fluffagrams and have been keeping Chinese Hamsters fairly exclusively for six years. As a young teenager I had kept Syrian Hamsters but after a break of 18 years, I decided that I wanted to keep Dwarf Hamsters. I thought I had my heart set on 'Russian' Hamsters but when I went to the pet shop to choose them, I caught glimpse of a type of hamster I hadn't seen or heard of before. My mind was made up and in the January of 2012, Meat and Stitch, a pair of Normal Chinese came home with me.

They lived together quite contently for about six months and were separated after a serious fight which left Meat scarred for life.
By the time I joined this forum, Stitch had already crossed the bridge and Meat was over three years old. Following the passing of Meat, I decided that I wanted to start showing hamsters and applied to go on Vectis Hamstery's waiting list. I had joined the Southern Hamster Club in the March of 2015.
Since 2015, I have attended many shows and began helping out with Stewarding so I could learn more about the show standards and in 2016, I registered the prefix of Metallica Hamstery. I was elected the Webmaster of the Southern Hamster Club and a Committee Member of the Midland Hamster Club in 2016 but 2017 saw me elected as the PRO of the Midland Hamster Club and the PRO/Webmaster of the National Hamster Council. I am a trainee judge with two more assessed judgings to complete and all being well, I am hoping to be qualified by the summer of 2018.
