Photo Month Thread - March 2018

Because the room is quite small, it seems like a never-ending job to keep it tidy but everything does have a specific place and it helps that they're relatively easy to access.

The worst part of the hamster room is the very old carpet on the floor. It's not great when the hamsters throw bits of substrate out of their cages but the worst culprits for doing that are in more enclosed cages now.

He he - throwing substrate out of the cage. Our old carpet is now chewed - from when Newt's playpen was set up in there. I also spent some birthday money last year on the most of exciting of things (not). One of these.

It's great. Swallows up the bits of substrate on the floor without scaring the hamsters with the noise of a hoover. Very quick and easy too.

Lovely catching up with the Metallica hams and the guinea pigs I wish I could keep my hamster room as organised, even though I have storage boxes that are meant to have specific things in them, it never seems to stay that way for long

Today I thought I'd share a couple of photos of the hamsters with their new hammocks. Unfortunately, Fuzzbutt's has had less available in the smaller sizes so when I discovered someone else selling similar, I thought I'd give them a try and here are Juno, Jack and Alex modelling the results:

They are lovely and colourful and the hams seem to be really enjoying them!

Those do look nice & the hams all look very cute posing in their new hammocks too

They look right at home all sitting there posing with their hammocks. They look so relaxed that I might need to get one for me (not the hams)

The Metallica Chinese wouldn't be without their hammocks.

The lady who makes these has so many different fabrics to choose from and as she makes them to order, you can also choose your fleece colour too.
