Worried about Basil

Aww Basil is really cute
Dwarf hams are easier to find toys for as many things sold for hamsters are actually big enough for them, most will enjoy having an egg box in the cage, just cut a little door in each end & put a little substrate in, you can hide some food or treats in there & he'll enjoy hunting it out, coconuts are great for little hideouts, cork tubes or tunnels are nice too (I put mine in the freezer for a week before using) simple cardboard tubes & small boxes are often enjoyed too.

So this is the start of his new set up.
I’m really not sure on the diggy tower as I’m worried he could suffocate under the bedding? It does have good reviews though

I used to have one of those digging boxes & they can be fun for a ham but I do think they're better for out of cage time under supervision rather than being left in the cage & you might be able to make better use of the space.
You could put almost that depth of substrate in the entire cage without the wheel touching the top, I would add in more fun things like tubes, cardboard or cork are best & other smaller items, coconut/egg box that sort of thing would be fun for Basil.
