Hamster is horribly loud at night!

Silent runners are brilliant. Arun has one. He lives in my bedroom. I can hear a gentle patter of feet (aw) but that is all. His is on the stand.

Thanks so much everyone for the replies! She has a 12 inch wheel and about 6 inches of bedding on one side. Tomorrow we are moving her down stairs so it won’t be a problem thanks everyone! The silent runner does sound great!!!!! I might get it even though they won’t be in my room. Thanks again everyone.

I used to have this problem quite a bit when i was younger and not in charge of my budget for toys / cage size.

I got a silent spinner and yes, it fixed the wheel problem, but the digging and chewing was still very loud !

Honestly, a cage upgrade (size wise) may help, or more things to stimulate your ham like toys and things to chew on ! If they like digging one corner, put in a sand bath there, its quieter when they dig and the base of the bath will stop them scratching a hole in their cage base over time !
