Hamster Cage Stand
Just thought I would share this thing I have just bought from Argos in case it was of any interest to anyone - it is described as a 'Maine TV Unit' but it is quite clearly a thing to put your hamster cage on!
Access Denied
I know most people like stuff from Ikea but for those of us who can't get there, this is pretty handy. The top is 100cm by 50cm and it's 46cm high - easy to put together - the shelves don't go all the way to the back, as there is space at the back for all your wires (just in case you actually do want to put a TV on it...) but they are still deep enough for me to get lots of Marty's stuff in!
I've got an Alexander cage and this is pretty much exactly what I wanted - Marty has been on top of a coffee table until now but this looks much neater. It is supplied with those little plastic things to cover the screw heads but I haven't got round to putting those on yet.

Mine was on sale at 20% off just a couple of days ago, it's back to full price now but they often have sales on these kind of things.

That is just what I was looking for earlier this year! To put Newt's cage on. His cage is still on top of some filing boxes with a sheet over the top, which was temporary when we moved a year ago! Most things were a bit tall but that is the right height to still be able to open the top door on the cage easily.

That looks great. I spent ages looking for units to put my hamsters on but never thought tp try argos! I will need to bear that in mind for future

I agree that Argos needs to update their description to hamster cage stand!

If the shelves weren’t in it, do you thinkit would still be strong enough to put the cage on?
Asking as another cage could possibly fit under it.
