Poor Peachy has lost some fur on her haunches. It looks like it rubbed off as the skin underneath isn't looking red, but possibly a bit dry.

OMG, Miss Peach certainly has been busy! Congratulations to Miss Peach and Cotton for becoming new parents, congrats to you Ruth for becoming a "grandma", and Dylan for now being a "grandpa?", lol!

This is such exciting news for all of you. I'm sure that Dylan must be so ecstatic about all of this.

I hope that all hams are doing well and thriving. I would absolutely love to see any pics that you are able to capture of the growing family.

I'm so sorry that the new mum has lost some fur on her haunches and is having some dry skin. Hopefully, her fur will grow back and her skin will be fine again very soon. Please give Miss Peach and Cotton plenty of congratulatory cuddles for me, Eros, Arwen, and Hinata; please also give Miss Peach a few extra get well cuddles, too. Congratulatory hugs for you and Dylan, too.

thankyou Flowerfairy and Dreamtree. i think Peach's wooden house is too small for her and her back end is rubbing on the little window. i bought a bigger house but she just fills it with bedding and hasn't been in it since the babies were with her. i'm trying to work out what colour the babies are. they are pretty Heinz 57. i will posta short thread with their pictures.

after Cotton had his claws clipped last week, i checked Peach's paws and she also has very long claws so now it's her turn. she's quite a pudden now, weighing in at 220g.

Female syrians are usually bigger than male ones. Peach looks perfect to me!

I'm glad that you were able to trim Cotton's claws already and hope that pretty Miss Peach will allow you to trim hers with not too much fuss, too. I just trimmed the claws of my two piggies (Arwen and Hinata) yesterday afternoon.

Was it' difficult to keep Arwen and Hinata still, dreamtree? i couldn't cut cottons, as he was wriggling too much.
