Re: Wheel
It depends where you are (country), what species of hamster and size of hamster!
Silent runners are very good. (that is silent runner, not silent spinner). My favourite wheel. I have the 12" one for our Syrian. Some people have the 9" one for dwarf hammies although I wasn't sure about that for a Robo so have an open wheel for our Robo.
Wodent wheels are also good - 8" is good for dwarf hammies and a single robo - 11" is fine for most Syrians. But Silent runner is better in my opinion although costs a bit more and is very orange (or yellow) lol. Silent runners just spin incredibly well, they are safe and sturdy and very silent.
You can also get wood wheels - some are good, some are not very safe. The better ones have no struts and have cork running surfaces. They need checking for splinters and/or possibly a bit of sanding, and painting with plastikote petsafe waterproofing paint ideally as hammies pee in wheels.
In the US Carolina Bucket wheels are popular - about the same price as a Silent Runner. Only 10" so ok for an average syrian or a dwarf hammy but not for a large Syrian. Also silent and height extendable so they can sit above substrate and still be sturdy.
Avoid any metal wheels or wheels with open rungs in. Wheels need to have a solid back and a solid running surface to be safe.
Sizes: Dwarf hammies 6.5" to 8" (although they can run in bigger wheels and the 9" silent runner is apparently very easy for them to use).
Syrians - most people use 10" to 12" depending on the size of the Syrian. Our hammy doesn't need a 12" wheel but the Silent runner is good to run in and not too deep so fits fine in our cage.

Re: Wheel
Ghost has a 28cm Trixie wheel which is fine and also very good value, being plastic it is easy to clean when your Hammie uses it for a toilet....!
Ghost is in his for ages and pees and poo's in his so it get's washed out quite often....

Re: Wheel
My hamster absolutely loves the Trixie Wheel. He's in it right now in fact. It's not silent, but not overly loud either, he is in my bedroom overnight and it doesn't keep me awake.
