I'm sorry that the house's roof is giving you problems, but hopefully it is all solved now. I'm so excited for you and your family that your robo is coming tomorrow. Yippee!!! I agree with you that it is only fair that you name this newest hamily member if you don't approve of your stepson's favorite name and he named Newt. It's good that everyone has a turn.

What a shame the house warped  I'm sure he won't mind though!
Can't wait to hear all about him when he gets home & find out his name, sounds as though it's going to have to be your turn to choose lol!

That was a load of hassle lol. I got very frazzled with the house. I had wiped the roof with a damp cloth after some sanding which was when it warped. I ended up cutting off the little lugs for the roof to slide onto and glueing the roof on. House is in now but I can't lift the roof off - shame!
Yes Nugget arrived this afternoon He has a thread. Stepson wanted to call him Charlie Junior but I just couldn't call him Charlie - so officially he is Charlie Hero Junior Nugget. But going to be called Nugget

That's really sweet that stepson wanted to call him Charlie junior & a real tribute to Charlie but I can totally understand how you'd feel about calling him that, Charlie Hero Junior Nugget is a great name & Nugget suits him perfectly

Thank you Cypher. I had such an emotional wrangle with it. Really wanted to please Stepson and call him Charlie Junior, but I just couldn't call another hammy Charlie. Stepson suggested calling him Junior then - I hate Junior as a name lol! So if he's Charlie Nugget he can be called Nugget. Yes it was sweet that stepson wanted another Charlie - I think he really feels the loss of a Charlie in the family. Two and a half years is a long time for a child.
So Stepson liked Charlie Junior. I liked Hero and Nugget so rolled them all together lol. OH opted out of the naming (he probably didn't think it was worth suggesting anything as he knew he'd end up outvoted).
