I'm catching up on the last two days of your amazing thread. I love the DIY hanging pumpkin toy. I just died laughing that this Pumpkin won't demand cuddles or treats! That was quite funny, SKB. I love the wonderful, detailed tutorial you created for this great toy, too. Pumpkin playing with it is so adorable. I especially love the bottom right one where she has her head completely inside the toy; she was probably checking it out for extra treats, lol. The haunted house is AMAZING and so creative! I love it to pieces, lol. I'm glad that Pumpkin found it inhabited with delicious mealworms; I'm sure she enjoyed them tremendously. Lol, at the ghost having to fly away from Pumpkin. What fun!!!! I love all of these pics, the story line, and the great haunted house creation. My most favorite pic here is the top one. I just love Pumpkin's expression!!!! You are so extremely talented, SKB!! I can't wait to see what you and Pumpkin have in store for us today.

I was really happy with the photos from that photo shoot, it was quite a easy one to do as Pumpkin decided to pose exactly how I had envisioned - especially the first photo! - but a bribe of mealworms did help to. I think Pumpkin would have moved in to if it was full of mealworms to - she had enough to have a quick snack before she decided to save the rest for later.

...BorisPasha, yes I did make Pumpkin's haunted house - I found a template online which I printed off then I cut it out of black card. Then I cut out the squares for the window which I then decided to stick yellow paper behind. The haunted house was stuck on the front of a small cardboard box for the photoshoot but I now have it stuck with blu tac to the front of Pumpkin cage.

... dreamtree1234, I also thought that part was funny too as when I typing I had lost my train of thoughts so when I was typing the post for the DIY pumpkin decorations, so instead I typed that "this Pumpkin wont demand cuddles or treats" and I really liked it so I left it in.

26th – Pumpkin’s Guide To Trick or Treating

Hi, It’s me, Pumpkin with another one of my "Guide to"! And I thought today I would share my tips on Trick or Treating to all my hammy friends. This is a silly thing humans only do once a year – how silly of them! Don’t they realise that you can demand treats every day of the year just like we do?!

1. Firstly, Make Your Most Scarily Cute Expression! – You may need to practice this before Halloween therefore you can work our which of your scarily cute expression will help you to get your favourite treats. Also remember to look hungry to!
2. Give Your Treat a Very Good Sniff – make sure your treat is what you want, as you don’t want your human playing the trick on you!
3. I Always Like To Have a Quick Taste Of The Treat – just double checking it something nice and not something yucky disguised as something nice!
4. Then Quickly Grab Your Treat as you do not want your human changing their mind and taking it away from you!
5. Pouch Your Yummy Treat, but personally I like to run off with mine and hide it in my hoard.
6. This is the Most Important Step – Check Your Treat Dish For Any More Treats if your dish is empty – you can REPEAT these steps again and again and again …!

Just A Quick Note To All Hamsters Friends- remember to have fun and fill those pouches full of lots and lots of yummy treats! Also just a reminder if your human fails to cave into your demands you can always play a trick on them – well it is called trick or treat! – tricks could include keeping your human awake all night, making a big mess for them to tidy up, making them jump but the list of tricks is endless!

Absolutely love Pumpkin's guide to trick or treating, it's so funny I burst out laughing at the "you can repeat these steps again and again and again...." lol. I'm sure my boys will be studying this guide tonight and practising their scary and starving faces I had wondered what Boris was up to yesterday evening when he was sitting in different positions looking at his reflection. He must have had a sneak preview of Pumpkin's guide already

Pumpkin is very pleased that you liked her guide to trick or treating – she hoping that all her hammy friends will have a successful night of trick or treating. Pumpkin eyes did light up when she saw the bucket full of Monkey nuts, she quickly set to work at relocating some to her hoard.

… BorisPasha, that part is so iconic of hamsters as one treat is never enough for them and they always know how to use their charm and irresitable pleading look to get more treats. I think Pumpkin may have shared an exclusive sneak peek on the hamnet - so she was very happy to hear that Boris has been working really hard at perfection his scarily cute expressions.

27th – Home Grown Apple

Today for another one of Pumpkin’s Autumnal themed photoshoots.
Pumpkin has been enjoying some home-grown apples this month that have been freshly picked from the apple trees on my dad’s allotment, so I thought Pumpkin wouldn’t mind posing with one for a photoshoot.

When looking back at these photos after I had taken them – the photos really reminded me of the Wicked Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (or as Pumpkin likes to call it Snow White and the Seven Dwarf Hamsters!) with the enchanted poison apple! However Pumpkin can ensure you that her apple is yummy, juicy and delicious!

Oh, my! I am just catching up with yesterday's and today's posts. They are just absolutely hilarious! I just couldn't stop beaming and laughing with all of Pumpkin's cuteness and silliness and all of your hilarious commentary, too. I just love, LoVE, LOVE this thread and can't stop smiling. Pumpkin, you look so gorgeous and adorable in all of your photo shoots and your guide to trick or treating. I just love you so much and want to give you an extra special cuddle and kiss for making my day. Eros has also been sneaking around and taking quick glances at her reflection from the bin cage as she changes her expressions and paw positions when "I not looking", lol. I think she also got an early preview of your amazing and entertaining lesson. I just love to see all the excitement on your face as you spotted the trick or treat bucket packed full of delicious monkey nuts for your enjoyment - TOO CUTE!!! The right side photo of you mesmerized and concentrating on the apple is just priceless, too. I died out laughing at "Snow White and the Seven Dwarf Hamsters! with the enchanted poison apple". Perfect description for an amazing photo, SKB, just PERFECT!!! ....

Great trick or treat tips from Pumpkin She has some great expressions. I really like the apple photos and the apple is so shiny and perfect! She looks like she can't decide what to do with it lol.

The apple is so shiny it actually made me think Pumpkin looks as though she's gazing into a crystal ball
