Re: 31 Days of October
The Disney's Animal Kingdom sounds like tons of fun. I have always wanted to go but never did. I just can't stop choosing the Magic Kingdom whenever I have the chance. I am such a kid at heart, lol. Next time, I will have to go to the Animal Kingdom to experience the safari instead of only seeing wild animals at the zoos.
What an impressive pumpkin and such a cuddly Lavender snuggling next to and on top of it! I love these pics especially the left one. Fluffy Lavender looks truly amused sitting on the humongous pumpkin; it made me laugh at the priceless expression. Hahaha, is that a picture of "The GREAT Pumpkin" from Peanut's It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, lol? If so, I hope that he gave you and Lavender plenty of wonderful treats. Such wonderful memories of your precious piggy. I truly love going to the pumpkin patch and picking out a special pumpkin. What a joy it must be that your Dad has such a splendid allotment to grow his very own giant pumpkins as well as other delicious fruits and veggies. I always enjoy seeing what homegrown treats Pumpkin will enjoy next from your Dad.

Re: 31 Days of October
Thank you BorisPasha, dreamtree1234 and cypher. Lavender looked so small beside the pumpkin, I had lots of fun taking these photos so did Lavender. It is so lovely to be able to provide my pets with homegrown fruit and veg freshly picked from my dad’s allotment – currently Pumpkin is getting spoilt to carrots, green beans and apples.
… dreamtree1234, Animal kingdom is a mix between a zoo, safari park and theme park. The safari aspect is a ride which you can see all the animals free roaming – so we got fast passes for so we could skip most of the long queue. But then they have parts which are more like a zoo and they also have a walkthrough aviary. I know what you mean you can’t go to Disney world and not got to the Magic Kingdom (I’ve been for both Christmas and Halloween). However last year we also did Animal kingdom and Hollywood Studios and the previous time when we went to Epcot (but unfortunately I didn’t get to experience much of it as I was really unwell).

22nd – Pumpkin and The Mushroom House
Pumpkin and I having been recently working on a series of Autumnal and Halloween themed photoshoots – that I have been so excited to share for a while now so the rest of this thread will be all dedicated to Pumpkin’s photoshoots. We both had lots of fun with these photoshoots and Pumpkin was rewarded for her participation with yummy mealworms and sunflower seeds along with lots and lots of cuddles. Pumpkin promises all of the photos are Scarily Cute!
Last November, during Pumpkin’s playtime I managed to get these photos of Pumpkin being very cute in her ceramic mushroom house …
I loved these photos with Pumpkin very curious expressions that I had been wanting to re-create this photoshoot but Pumpkin had other idea to what poses will make the perfect and cutest photos. Pumpkin currently has the ceramic mushroom house in her Autumnal/Halloween themed cage and she making good uses out of it as a safe place to store her treats and foods.

Re: 31 Days of October
Disney's Animal Kingdom even sounds more exciting to me now that you have shared your gorgeous pics and said that there are three parts to the park. I would love to see the animals completely free roaming; I'm sure it must have been an extremely thrilling experience. I will have to definitely make a point to go to see it next time. Thanks, SKB! I'm sorry that you were not feeling well when you went to Epcot. Maybe you can go again soon and have a wonderful time experiencing all of it next time.
Wow, the rest of the thread will be filled with Pumpkin being scarily cute! What bliss and a total treat; I can hardly wait to see all the photo shoots of your gorgeous princess. I just love your precious sweetheart.
I absolutely love both year's photo collages. Cuteness overload at its very best!!! Pumpkin looks so adorable in all of the photos with the charming ceramic mushroom house. I can see why you wanted to try to recreate such a wonderful photoshoot, but I'm glad that Pumpkin put her spin on the new poses so you will have so many more sides of her charming personality showing. What a creative little one! My favorite one from 2016 is the top right one; she looks extra cute (if that is even possible) cocking her head and peeking out from inside the mushroom entrance. She just melts my heart and makes me smile. My favorites from the 2017 photo collage are the top left one with her looking like she is sneakily going out on the prowl and the top right one with her cute bum and tiny tail poking out from the house, lol. Pumpkin is quite the girl!

Re: 31 Days of October
I havent been on here much lately so had lots of days to catch up on.
The woodpecker photos are wonderful. As for the toucanette and other birds ... sigh. I used to work at Crystal Palace children's zoo and we had a toucanette there that I was in love with. That picture reminded me of him. I nearly cried when I saw it. You certainly have filled this thread with wonderful pictures.
Lavender was such a pretty girl. I love white gps.
The spiny mouse!!! Those ears!!! Also great pics of Pumpkin in her autumn house. Very seasonal.

Re: 31 Days of October
I do love Pumpkin's mushroom house Both the collages are wonderful. It's nice to see how she's changed over the year. She looks a lot more confident and sure of herself now.
I can never have enough of Pumpkin so I can't wait to see what you have lined up for us for the rest of the month

Re: 31 Days of October
Thank You dreamtree1234, cypher, Coco61, Serendipity7000, flowerfairy and BorisPasha. I love when Pumpkin puts her own spin on her photoshoots, she always knows what will look best even though most of the time it isn’t always what I had envisioned, but she has fun so that all that matters. I am so fortunate I found this ceramic mushroom house a few of years ago when I was on holiday and had visited Petco and I was lucky to manage to get it back to the UK in one piece!
… flowerfairy – I also love white guinea-pigs especially ones with red eyes I think they are so beautiful! I could have watched the spiny mice all day – I took so many photos of them and they do have such magnificent ears.
Toucans are very beautiful birds – I’m sorry that the photo nearly made you cry – sounds like that toucan had a very special place in your heart.
… BorisPasha, Pumpkin does look a lot more confidence now than back in November 2016 as she was still a little timid and shy but her confidence quickly grew into her cheeky mischievous self.

23rd - Double Trouble!
Well you know what 2 Pumpkins equals – that’s right double trouble!
This photoshoot was inspired by the DIY pumpkin that I had made for Sherbet’s Halloween themed cage so thought I would make some for Pumpkin for her Autumnal/Halloween Themed cage – I made Pumpkin’s in 2 different sizes although I didn’t paint faces on these pumpkin this time like I did on Sherbet’s as I have already have one scarily cute Pumpkin!
These cardboard pumpkins have been made by rolling up plain unprinted cardboard which I have then place inside part of a pringle tube – this method doesn’t require any glue, I used elastic band to stop the cardboard unravelling which I then removed once I slid the cardboard into part of the tube. Smaller ones can be made from using a part of a toilet paper tube.
Here is a picture tutorial which shows the process of making a cardboard Pumpkin using a part of a kitchen roll tube…
