I had a robo & a Syrian in the same room & the tanks were pretty close together with no problems. I can't see that it should cause a problem. Your robo might notice a new scent in the room for a few days but I'm sure it's not something that's a problem.

I wouldn't worry, I have four cages in my living room & they aren't that far apart but none of them seem bothered except the occasional bit of attention seeking when they can hear me with another ham!
Lots of people keep cages in close proximity & it's rarely a problem.

It shouldn't be a probably to keep their cages close together so long as they aren't showing signs of stress or jealousy. Many people on HC do it without any problem.
