Re: 30 Days of September
I love their ears lol. I think I love Chinesey's because they're a little bit mouse-like
Throw-back to 2 of the cats we owned before Sox. Both of these girls have long passed away now but they were both very special.
Sabia (Black cat) was one of my first ever cats (we got her and 2 of her siblings who we named Sooty and Sweep). When we got them home we realised Sabia must have been the runt of the litter and that none of the 3 were fully weaned from their mum despite us being told they were. She used to suckle on her own paw and loved to sleep on radiators.

Bex (Tortie) was the first pet I had that I took full financial responsibility for A friend had got her and kept her in a rabbit hutch because all she did was cry. I took her (With consent, I didn't steal her lol) and realised she was limping when crying. We took her to the vets and found out that the ball joint to her hip had actually snapped, we have no idea how, just that it happened before we got her. She had surgery to pin her hip and they said she may need more when fully grown but she never ended up needing additional surgery. She used to steal crisps if she found an open packet, would give kisses on command and used to meow back if we spoke to her

Re: 30 Days of September
Thank goodness you got full ownership of Bex, so awful that this friend kept her in a rabbit hutch. Bex reminds me of the first cat I had. Sabia's jet black colouring so beautiful, the first pic you can just make out her eyes.
Bex & Sabia were stunning!

Re: 30 Days of September
Thank you Not surprisingly we didn't remain friends after that! I understand people can make mistakes and stuff but that was just a bit too far as far as I was concerned!
I'm going to be cheeky and post ome pictures of my sisters hammy today although, technically not cheeky because the hammy was the little normal girl from my first Chinesey litter. My sister called her Blossom

Re: 30 Days of September
Lovely photos of the cats, Bex was so lucky to have come to you & get the treatment she needed to live a happy & pain free life.
Blossom is a little beauty

Re: 30 Days of September
Blossom has such a cute face.
I couldn't be friends with someone like that either, how would she feel if someone put her in a rabbit hutch?
