Re: 31 days of August
I too had no idea there were so many species of bees, so fascinating to learn that. Beautiful pics.
I've absolutely loved your month Cypher, It's been a delight hearing all about your special gorgeous hamily past and present and your magical garden, oh how I'd love to get a tent, deckchair, a pair of binoculars and camera and stay a few days.
I've decided that I'm going to read up on bees as your pics and info have had me buzzing to know more lol!

Re: 31 days of August
What a wonderful feast of lovely photos, hammies and nature to see at the end of one of those frustrating days! Your garden sounds like Eden - I have only recently learned about different species of bees after reading about plants.
I suppose this is your last day, so thank you for a wonderful interesting month and apologies for missing some of it here and there. It has been really diverse and interesting and extremely relaxing and good for the soul seeing so much nature

Re: 31 days of August
Thank you for these great bee pictures, so bees really do nest in those tlittle tubes. And the leaf cutter using that tiny hole, wow!
Thank you for August, and showing us your lovely ham family and garden friends too

Re: 31 days of August
It's has been a wonderfully entertaining and interesting month cypher. Thank you so much for each day. Like others I have looked forward to what you were going to show us. Love the hamily of course but the garden and nature shots have been fascinating. I was given a bee house a couple of Xmases ago and hung it in the garden but sadly no bee has been interesting in making a home there. I will keep trying inspired by your success. More bees have been interest in our fushia this year and the lemon trees attract them too.

Re: 31 days of August
I have really enjoyed this month - it has been so lovely reading about all of your hamily and seeing so many wonderful photos of both your hamsters and your garden wildlife! (The photo of the mouse enjoying the bird seed is really sweet!)
All of your bee photos have been absolutely stunning - I had found taking bee photos extremely difficult and most of mine last year had been out of focused but seeing your bee photos really inspired me to try again and I'm so pleased at some of the photo I have manage to take. So thank you for sharing these. Also I had no idea that there were this many different types of bumble bees - I knew there were a few but not that many!

Re: 31 days of August
Thanks SKB I'm glad you enjoyed the thread & it's great that you've had another go at taking some bee photos, they aren't the easiest thing to get a good photo of (I have plenty of blurry ones too ) but well worth persevering with, very happy to hear you got some you're pleased with now.
