Re: 31 days of August
Whisper was so gorgeous. It's such a shame that you didn't have longer with her though I know she would have had a wonderful life with you What fantastic ears she had and I love her spiderham mug
You're spoiling us today Cypher with beautiful Whisper and the fluffy dumpling himself, Tinwë

Re: 31 days of August
Superb pics of the blue tit Cypher, I feel like a parrot repeating myself but your attention to detail is truly amazing!
Aww little Whisper so precious and stunning! I love her being Spiderham.
So much cuteness in catching up, I do love Tinwe that bit more, such a cheeky adorable face, he makes me giddy!

Re: 31 days of August
What was the little brown thing in her food - a dried insect? And what is the raised bowl type thing you have put her seeds inside? It looks very cool. Very cute picture of Whisper with her bear - did it live permanently in her cage? I think Quigley would have decided to shred it for nesting material!
Sorry for so many questions!

Re: 31 days of August
I think that's a crickets leg in her food AP!
The bowl is the top of her house, she had two of these.
They're great little houses & she loved hers unfortunately though they are heavy & chineseys have to burrow under absolutely everything so I need to figure out a way to put them on stilts if I use them again!
ETA sorry I forgot to say about the bear, I would never leave anything like that in the cage, they're just for the very occasional fun photoshoot.

Re: 31 days of August
Love the smiley pot her sprouts are in She looks so sweet perching at her food bowl and peeking in, such a beauty
Have your hams enjoyed eating other insects (apart from mealworms) Cypher? I keep thinking I'll get a back of the rodipet food to try but the insects put me off lol.

Re: 31 days of August
Thanks BP
Insects are a bit hit & miss tbh, I find overall they mostly prefer the mealworms & shrimps, some of mine have been happy to eat a bit of cricket now & then but not a whole one!
I have a tub of silk worm pupa but Zeki is the only one who'll eat them & he only gets one a week at most so they'll last forever, he's more adventurous than the others & quite likes beetles too, Zylvan will have a go but the others pointedly ignore them
