She leaves all the dark green bits; every animal I've ever had has left those nasty pellets haha! Don't want to restrict her to nuggets though as I think the variety must be a large part of joy in their lives! I'll make sure she gets lots of treats to supplement. Been cautious of them up to now worrying about upset stomach/wet tail. Best treats that don't cause upset? Thanks

Lol just leaving the dark pellets is fine. All my 8 hams have ignored them too! I just meant if she was, for example, only picking out the sunflower seeds.

It’s best not to give too many treats. Treats should only form about 5% of their diet. Giving too many could actually lead to selective eating or upset the balance of her diet’s nutrition. I give one treat per day maximum. For example, a piece of veg (one finger nail sized piece a day, or larger if you do not feed daily) for example broccoli, carrots, peas, or a nut or some pumpkin or sunflower seeds (not too many nuts or seeds though as they are high in fat). Giving a small piece of cooked or freeze dried chicken or boiled or scrambled egg, or even meal worms (though many Syrians will ignore them) can boost protein. Again, everything in moderation is the key.

There's quite a good list of safe treats & fresh foods in the wiki section here.
I don't really consider veg a treat & always give daily but if she's not had many before work up gradually, maybe a small piece every three days then work up to daily from there if she's ok with them, as much variety as possible but just one each day. Veg is always preferable to fruit which should only be given as a rare treat as their stomachs don't handle acids well & dried fruits like raisins should be a very rare treat.
Other good treats are sunflower, pumpkin & hemp seeds, all preferably in the shell, flax seeds & plain oat flakes are good too, the best nuts are walnuts, brazils & pine nuts, just small amounts of any of these, as AP said they are high in fat but fine in moderation.
You can also give a monkey nut, just make a small hole in each end so she can smell the nut, this keeps them busy for a while!
A dog biscuit now & then is good too as both a treat & a chew, most of us use Biscrok.
Protein treats as AP already said.

Ok I may sound stupid but I live in the states and many of the foods you recommend or even weighing you hamster I haven't heard of outside a vets office. Do you know of any healthy foods my way or treats.

I'd recommend Wet Nose dog biscuits. There are other good brands here, lots sold in Chewy, but in general stick to high quality natural products only. There should be no unspecified biproducts(such as digest, derivatives, meat and bone meal of any sort, any sort of biproduct meal, vague liver, vague fat, etc),no artificial flavors or artificial dyes,no artificial sweeteners or processed sugars(maltodextrin, dextrose, sorbitol, fructose, suc rose, etc),no propylene glycol,no sulfur dioxide,no BHA/BHT/ethoxyquin(known to cause cancer, also if you ever look at UK products those with "E&C approved antioxidants" and similar terms is a loophole to allow such preservatives without being specified).Nothing should be from China or irradiated either, and if it will be shared with dogs or cats they must not contain any form of corn or wheat(terrible for dogs and cats and other carnivorous species, safe for hamsters).

Diabetes Friendly US Dog Biscuits and Crunchy Treats(From Chewy)

That might help slightly as a basic guideline of examples, although diabetes won't be an issue so you'll have far more variety in choices.Certain things weren't exactly mentioned there though, but another tip along with the thread and the above information would be to definitely stay away from Diamond,Evangers, and anything related to Scott Pet Products due to sketchy business practices or generally unsafe products(whether safety issues are obvious or not).

For the main diet I'd go with either Harry/Hazel Hamster or a Higgins Sunburst combination(Mazuri rat and mouse or Carefresh, the Carefresh combination does require added freeze dried chicken and flax seed though to be completely suitable but it is two thirds Carefresh to one third Higgins).

Dog biscuits are different in the US but you shouldn't have a problem finding most of those seeds, some may be sold for birds some for humans (flax might be called linseed, monkey nuts are plain peanuts in the shell & oat flakes are oatmeal!).
Just use normal kitchen scales to weigh your ham, digital scales are best, you might need to put your ham in a small box or mug to for weighing but it's simple enough.
