Re: Charlie's flower bed
What a beautiful tribute to Charlie. I have not been around on this forum long enough to have *met* him, but I do feel that I know him through your anecdotes and posts. He sounds like a special soul.

Re: Charlie's flower bed
What a lovely tribute and memorial garden for beloved Charlie. He was a truly remarkable hammy, and everyone on HC loved him. I'm so glad that you are sharing these special pictures of Charlie's resting place with us; it looks gorgeous and truly special. I love all of the flowers, rocks, his personalized Rainbow Bridge sign, and his engraved rock. What beautiful touches! I think it is also quite sweet that there is a birdbath there, too. It must make you happy to see pretty birds bathing and chirping to keep Charlie company. Hugs to you and your little boy, Serendipity. I'm sure that you must feel so close to Charlie every time you visit that spot. It truly touches my heart.

Aww Serendipity, Charlie's garden looks so lovely. It's so nice to see it again now that there are some flowers out and a bit colour. I'm sure Charlie will be very happy with it

Re: Charlie's flower bed
Serendipity,
What a nice idea a whole flower bed for Charlie, it looks lovely indeed.
I have Pip Buried under our Jasmine Bush, and Forrest under a Rosemary Bush, I need to make some proper markers for them though.
I like your painted stone, that is a great idea, but I'm not good at that sort of thing..

Re: Charlie's flower bed
Neither am I Rads I bought the stone online. It's actually etched so unlike paint the writing never wears off - the light colour is the stone underneath. It wasn't that expensive either.
A bush was the original intention till realised the main spring water pipe was nearby lol. So nothing deep rooted could be planted there.

Re: Charlie's flower bed
Charlie's garden is looking lovely with the flowers out. What a special spot for your very special heart ham. As the garden matures it must be a delight to chat to Charlie there. He will be looking back across the bridge and still feel how much he was loved. X
