Re: Daisy diary
Cotton is in his new home in the Goran cage. Now he's got deep substrate for when he drops off the ceiling, no tubes and no sawdust stuck in his little skirt, which might start growing back now.
Daisy bit Dylan's ear earlier. Can't say he didn't ask for it. She was stressed out after the move and he lay down on the bed with her and put her on his ear!
Both hams exhausted and fast asleep now.

Re: Daisy diary
Naughty Daisy, but he shouldn't have put her on his ear when she was stressed lol! How's his ear?
Lucky Cotton moving into his new cage, moving home is stressful so I'm glad Cotton's having a nap.

Re: Daisy diary
Just seen this thread! What gorgeous hamsters. So glad the mdm cage has got a lovely new occupant.
You may want to block one of the water bottle holes in the mdm as it could tempt Daisy to chew/enlarge it. Robin was in there briefly and had a good old chomp.
Cant wait for more pics of your beautiful hamsters. Hope they both like their new cages and that Dylans ear is all better.

Re: Daisy diary
It certainly looked like a tempting place for a chewer, so I looked up on HC what to do about the holes and the picture says it all. Thanks flower fairy and whoever recommended the chew toy, sorry I can't remember.

Re: Daisy diary
Thanks BP, AP, Drago, flowerfairy and Lizzy, my hams say thanks for the compliments. Dylan won't be scarred, he's fine now, silly boy and he's made himself a den in his bedroom. I think he wants to be a hamster.

Re: Daisy diary
Clever solution! I like it
P.S Who is Dylan (not to be nosy!)? Hope the ear is fine!

Re: Daisy diary
He's my son, and Cottons hamdad. He calls Daisy "that other hamster".
I think I might have to start asking " have you fed Your Fluff today?"

Re: Daisy diary
Daisy has really come out of her shell now. She's always eager to be taken out of the cage. Then I carry her downstairs in the hambasket for an evening play in the play cage.
I put a scramble net across the play cage and it's good to sprinkle food over, the little grains stick in the fabric.
Here she is in the hambasket
