Abnormal Pee?
Hey everyone! Just wanted to be reassured that my hamster is okay, because this afternoon while I was on my laptop I could here my hamster running, and i ignored it at first but after a while I noticed a smell, the smell of my hamsters pee. So I got up and walked over to his cage to see that he had urinated on his wheel while running, out of excitement (due to the potty training) I grabbed a peice of tissue and wiped up the pee into the tissue so I can put it in the corner he pees in so that he could pee there from now on. I realized that I should have tooken a picture of the pee on the wheel because I remembered it looked kinda funny and it was cloudy and orange. I dont know if that is normal and the fact that I could smell it bothers me even more. Can someone explain to me what could be wrong with my hamster or if he is okay and that it is just normal. Also I would also appreciate to see pictures of normal types of pee, and abnormal types! I would really appreciate the help and good info! This is my FIRST hamster so Im still new. Thanks guys!

Re: Abnormal Pee?
Sounds normal to me, you could probably just smell it because there was nothing to absorb it unlike pee on substrate or sand.
Their pee is darker & more concentrated than you might expect if you've never seen it on a non absorbent surface before.

Re: Abnormal Pee?
As Cypher says, all perfectly normal. And many hamsters pee on their wheels, too.
