Default hamster has calmed down a bit

She has calmed down since I cleaned her cage. She's burrowing in the litter and not using her house. Should I be worried that she likes to sleep outside her house? She seems to be happy in her old cage. She not had a.hammy tantrum since her cage was cleaned top to bottom. I don't want to stress her anymore. How exactly do you spot clean when the go in so many places?

I have 6 dwarves & I don't spot clean any of them. My Syrian uses sand dish as her potty.

Plan on cleaning my diabetic dwarf, Dakota, more frequently.

I clean all their cages every 5 weeks.

Cleaning from top to bottom is never a good idea as it runs off all their scent, with mine I spot clean every few days but rarely change their substrate. Hardly ever clean their houses other than to remove old hoarded food.

You can leave their toys/wheels/nest intact while cleaning the cage, then clean their wheels a week later

How long have you had her & how long has she been in the current cage? If it's not long then she may not have settled on a single spot to pee in, cleaning the whole cage is stressful for her & completely removing their scent is counterproductive really as they will get busy rescenting the cage & peeing in different places.
I wouldn't worry about spot cleaning until she's more settled then when you find the spot she seems to use most you could put a litter tray there with some chinchilla sand (not dust) or just fill it with her normal substrate (don't use the pellets sold for litter trays as they aren't safe) & put some wet substrate on top to encourage her to use it.
Sleeping outside the house is fine, they sleep where they want basically but make sure the house is suitable, large enough with no base & a good depth of substrate below, so she can use it if she chooses too.
