Hello, and quick updates

Hello! I haven't been able to make it on much lately due to kids and work and activities, and did I mention kids! Unfortunately this means I haven't had as much time for playing with the hammies, but this just means the new girls got extra time to settle in.

Saga and Poppy have both settled in nicely, and seem very content in their tanks even though they are on 20 gallon longs (this is still 4x larger then the cages they came in). I was able to get a larger terrarium a few days ago and will move one to it this weekend when I have the time to set it up. I'm thinking Poppy will get it since she's showing signs of being cage territorial, and this way she can climb out on her own at play time like she preferred in her previous cage. Saga really likes being in the busiest part of the house. She wants to see what everyone is doing, loves being talked to. Both girls are enjoying the scavenger hunt food games I do weekly in their homes.

Creeper is doing well, though I don't see him much since he's in my daughter's room. We have found that he can climb right up the kabob hanging toys without a problem, so all hanging toys have been banded since he likes to let go and fall once he reaches the top. Silly thing has no sense of danger!

And my old boy Ptolemy is the only one that seems to be happy with the lack of attention. He's still running on his wheel for short time each night and comes out for feeding time. He is definitely my longest like hammy at 2 years and 3 months, so he can have all the quiet time he wants!

All-in-all everyone is doing well and I'm looking forward to more play time with them in the near future.
