Two new arrivals at Metallica Hamstery!

I've kept this a little bit quiet so far but I actually came home from Ferndown with more hamsters than I arrived with...

Vectis's Luna Lovegood

Luna has come to Metallica from Vectis Hamstery as a possible wife for Lord James. She's one of the Lilio! litter that some of you might remember from Vectis's posts when Luna's brother Scrappy had his leg amputated. Luna has settled into her new home nicely and has been enjoying a spot of housekeeping in her tank.

'The Danish Princess'

This little lady came over from Denmark, via Houten and Vectis Hamstery and as is the tradition with pedigree hamsters from Europe, her breeder has named her and I'm waiting for her pedigree to come through to find out what it is. Meanwhile I'm referring to her as Danish Princess or DP.
She's very young and has found travelling and settling into her new home a little stressful so we're taking one step at time with her.

I did wonder if Vectis was maybe bringing you back a new Chinesey from Houten when said that some of the hamsters she brought back weren't all for her

Both Luna Lovegood (love her name) and the Danish Princess are beautiful. I hope James approves of her and that Luna approves of him too

I also hope that the Danish Princess settles soon and I'm looking forward to finding out her name.

Luna Lovegood (love the name too!) looks like a lovely girl & DP is so sweet, she looks tiny & rather delicate there! A real little beauty

Oh yay, how cute! I almost named Cress Luna Lovegood! It's a great name. I look forward to learning the Danish Princess's name, too!

I'm looking forward to finding out what DP's name is but also hoping that it's going to be something that I can pronounce or shorten to something pronounceable.
