Still no pedigree for the 'Danish Princess' as we're still waiting for it to come back from the Danish Hamster Association (their pedigrees have to be approved) so in the meantime my little Princess has told me that she'd like to be called Daniela. I may keep that on as her everyday name and just use her official name for showing but we'll see what comes through.

Luna is a bit of a cheeky miss at times and her and Jess are a right pair. The other day Luna decided to try and flood her cage and sat there all innocently when I'd asked what she'd done.

Daniela is growing in confidence, less so in size unfortunately but she had her first proper playtime in a storage bin yesterday rather than just digging about in a carrier. She even ventured into the sand bath.

Artie uses it regularly when he wakes us up at 3am running with a bit whimzee toothbrush in his wheel!

Matthew has taken to doing things like that. Today the little monkey put some substrate in his wheel and decided to go for a run. Once the wheel was empty again he stopped running to put some more in.

Glad the new girls are settling in, sounds like Luna's character is really beginning to shine through lol!
Lovely to hear that little Daniela is getting a bit braver now, she did look tiny still in her sand bath, so sweet!

I liked the name "Danish Princess", but Daniela is ok, however I'm very curious about her pedigree name.

I rolled on the floor laughing when I read your post that said "but also hoping that it's going to be something that I can pronounce or shorten to something pronounceable." LOL

Pronounceable or not, Danish Princess is going to be hard to beat
