Re: 31 days of May
Thank you AprilPearl, BorisPasha, Serendipity and Thin Lizzy.
The guinea pigs are still very unkeen on being caught but ... were much better at taking the baytril. No resistance and although they were not up for eating any yummies when they were on my lap they were definitely much happier today.
Happier times (before baytril);
Those are pellets in the background btw;
Talking of hamsters at play time ... I decided to have an early night last night. Gopal was gazing at me out of his cage ... he moved over to the door and sat up with his little white paws in the begging position. His black eyes were fixed on me and his brown/grey cloud of fluff just melted my heart. Who needs sleep anyway? Of course Arun was up by then and VERY eager to go to his play box so I sat and read and enjoyed stereo cuteness.
I wish my room was big enough for Kashi and Robin to be in there as well but at least they are both lively and get up for brekky and (early) supper so that I see them. They both allow strokies. The softness of their fur has to be stroked to be believed.
The intrepid Robin;
Fairy came out to play on her wheel and to forage for food, just before I put the boys back into their cages. She is so so so so cute. I love roborovskis!

Re: 31 days of May
Glad to hear the guinea pigs are taking their Baytril. Hopefully they will be back to their pre-Baytril selves soon!
Aww wish I could have seen Gopal! It's hard to resist a little fluffy face staring at you like that. Hamsters trump sleep every time
Robin looks like he is posing there for you.

Good to hear the guinea pigs are resisting a bit less for you. Drink it up you guys, you need to get better soon! Robin looks so sweet, what cage is he in? Robos really are adorable. I enjoy watching them bolt all about trying to find food

Re: 31 days of May
Pleased to hear Mistletoe and Jingle were ok with their baytril, must make it a lot easier when they're not putting up a fight (Artie put up a fight every single day of the 10 days he was on it, but that's Artie in a nutshell, fight first and probably don't even bother asking questions after lol)
I agree with AP, hamster do trump sleep Love that picture of Robin, it's nice and blue looking, it almost looks like he is having a swim in the sea

Re: 31 days of May
Glad giving the meds is getting a little easier even if the girls aren't too happy about it! Hope they are better really soon & won't need them for much longer.
Robin really is a bundle of fun & it sounds as though you had a lovely time with the hams, sometimes sleep doesn't seem to matter at all

Re: 31 days of May
Well Robin has taken first prize in the fun stakes and in the hamsters are more fun than sleep stakes. He tried to chew his way out of the multy duna maxi. I could hear from my bedroom (he lives downstairs in the dining room).
I gor up and put a large cotton throw between his and kashis cages thinking that she may be in season and thus more tantilising cor him than usual.
Still loud chomping. Sigh. Got up again. Set up the large rat and hamster grosvenor cage that Flower (rip) used to live in, put it on top of Gopals barney cage and put Robin in.
I got his house and wheel in there. He was not a bit fazed and spent ages spider hamming round his new pad and sitting listening avidly to all the new sounds in the room.
He was up first thing this morning ready for brekky and a strokies. I have got his play pen here now ready for run around time tonight.
He really is a delight and always seems upbeat. I am rather tired today after those exciting nocturnal adventures!
