Re: 31 days of May
Kashi is a gorgeous girl, her fur looks so smooth and velvety.
Sorry to hear about Mistletoe and Jingle and their trip to the vet. I hope Mistletoe gets better soon and that Jingle is ok. They're so adorable peeking out from their bendy bridges

Re: 31 days of May
Hope the piggies feel better soon. Lovely to see Kashi. Robin is adorable He looks so excited trying to climb out of the Maxi duna. I am trying to work out what his house is - it looks like a Ferplast Sin house (I think you mentioned that) but has a different lid - is it the lid from a Leif labyrinth house?

Yep the sin house with a lief cabin lid. Arun has the lief cabin house with the sin lid!
The advice re syrunge feeding is not to dilute the baytril but just get it down them and offer yummies afterwards ... Mabe it will get them used to lap time ... We will see!

Sorry about the piggies having to go to the vet ff. sounds like a wrap up in a towel could be needed to control protests! Good luck.

Re: 31 days of May
Well the first round of baytril via syringe was ... interesting. They both had it all but omg did Mistletoe complain. She tried to bat the syringe away with her front paws and tried to bite it. Jingle was pretty mellow thankfully.
I offered them yummies but they just sat there and waited to be released from the torture of sitting on my lap.
A ten day course with two doses each daily ... I do hope I find a way of making it enjoyable for them!
All the hamsters are doing really well although lovely Fairy (roborovski) fur is staring as if she isnt using her sand tray any more. She will be two in September so not very old although her sister, Flower is no longer with us.
Arun is always so so keen to go into his play box and very cleverly climbs up onto his play tube (in the play box) and pokes his head over the side of the box when he has had enough. I just love him.
Gopal just goes away from his pringles tube (transport tube) if he doesnt want to leave the play box when I offer it to him.
Robin has to be ushered into his box to be transported back to his cage as he never seems to want to come out of his play pen!
Hope to report back tomorrow with good news about guinea pig meds!

Re: 31 days of May
Oh dear sorry about the piggies needing Baytril. Hopefully it works and the course isn’t too long! I have never had to give a gp baytril, but I did need to administer a type of liquid food thing via a syringe. That was fine, but I guess it tasted nice. Mushu hated baytril when he needed it though. Tell the piggies to be brave from me!

Re: 31 days of May
Awww I hope Mistletoe and Jingle manage to keep taking the baytril without too much fuss and hopefully get a bit more cuddly with you over the 10 days as well as getting back to good health
It sounds like your hams are all very different in personality when it comes to play time, mine are too

Re: 31 days of May
Hope they do ok with the Baytril. I didn't realise the Ferplast Sin and Leif house were the same size! I just wanted to say what a grand job you are doing with this thread and May is a long month too! So much variety and all your little characters are adorable.
