Re: 31 days of May
Look at that little nose! He just wants to come out and play with you such a handsome friendly guy! And a highly proficient climber already, by the looks of it.

Re: 31 days of May
lol! Robin is getting to be a cheeky little man
I'm sure he'll enjoy having more space when you can get another cage sorted for him.

Re: 31 days of May
Yes BP the dining room is heaven! AP and Cypher Robin is so friendly and soft ..... I had to pick him up today cos he was climbing right up the open top of the multy duna maxi!!! He was totally relaxed about it, especially when i handed him a piece of walnut.
Kashi was cleaned out today. I kept her cage pretty much the same just added loads of sand, a whole bag from zoop!us ie 5kg. She uses it for weeing in and for putting in her nest. So do Arun and Gopal.
She has a nice deep fitch area and the lovely silent runner wheel. I left her seagrass nest in even though itis getting rather bald. She still sleeps in there with mountains of bedding.
She was keen to come out
I love her face. It is so hard to get decent pics of her as she is always on the go!
This is from when i first got her ...
I am already planning a new diy cage for Robin. Just got to create the space for it now. More furniture to remove! Luckily my mother is very accepting about the needs of my animals.
I reakon he could do with some levels to climb on and a really deep substrate area . Hmmm

Re: 31 days of May
Khashi is looking very sweet in that last picture. And her set up sounds amazing! I bet Robin will love his new cage, too. Your mother sounds more accepting than mine - it was a battle to persuade her that Mushu needed his Alaska cage

Re: 31 days of May
Its been lovely catching up with your thread, so nice to see that you could give Robin a wonderful loving home - he looks so handsome in the photos and he looks to be settling in well.
Kashi looks so sweet in that last photo - looks like she really enjoys her seagrass nest.
Its also been nice seeing more picture of your adorable guinea-pigs -Jingle and Mistletoe. Their C&C cage looks great!

Re: 31 days of May
I too love Kashi's color. She reminds me of an old Syrian I had! I'm sure Robin would love his own DIY cage

Re: 31 days of May
Catching up with this thread! I really loved the last rounds of pictures.
Your piggie's fringe are very cool, it gives them a rebel look, but they are adorable so it's a very cute combination.
Robin pictures are very cute and the captions are super funny
Kashi looks very sweet too.

Re: 31 days of May
Thanks everyone.
Poor Jingle and Mistletoe were whisked off to the vet today because Mistletoe had bubbly sounding breathing.
They have been given baytril (vet suggested that it was best to treat them both). They had an injection of it at the vets then from tomorrow I have to give it to them twice a day by syringe!!! I dont think they will be at all impressed with that. They shrieked when the injection went it.
I will double check with the guinea pig forum about giving baytril. Perhaps they can have it in food ...
I asked the vet to trim their nails whilst they were there so that is something that I wont need to do for a bit (phew).
Here are the little sweeties;
