New additions from Houten!

It's been nearly 2 months since the Houten show and the newbies are well settled here (and the two 'extras' have gone off to their new homes).

I still have some of the Chinese living happily in pairs for now: Sandown & Norton, Boddony & Gunilla, and Pteppic, Keli and Ptraci. Adgestone and Merstone had pups and Mer was bullying Adge who was pushed out of the nest and into a corner so he now has his own cage. Ridcully and Esme were recently split up despite living peacefully as Ridcully has been paired with Scrappy (Ridcully is actually female...!) Sandown is looking rather round so I hope pups are on the way - and will separate her from Norton soon. Now Pteppic and Ptraci have grown larger, I am planning to take Keli (who is bigger and I suspect older) out into her own cage.

It's interesting looking back at the photos earlier in the thread to see how much the hammies have grown!

It's good to see them again and to know that everything is going fine!

You're right it's amazing how much they grown, even their coat looks different. If they have pups in the end, I hope you'll post pics of the babies when they're ready!!

Oh what a lovely thread!

I am yearning for a white chinese hamster and find the doops rather lovely as well.

It's lovely to hear how they've settled in and grown and I look forward to hearing more about them in due course and of course, I'm very much looking forward to seeing any pup pictures.

(Thank you for bringing back an 'extra' for me. She's still tiny and is learning important hamster-y skills from my lot).
