Re: 30 Days of April
Sounds like a busy day so it was very helpful of Delphic to lend a helping paw
Great idea using the little cup cake cases for the vitamin mash, looks like a soup kitchen for hams!
That Campbell pic is just too adorable

Love Delphic and the Cambells photo! You have been incredibly busy but it looks like a lot of fun (although cleaning all the cages maybe not lol).

This made me chuckle
How kind of Delphic jumping in the food box to count all the pieces of food, the Campbell pic is stunning

Re: 30 Days of April
It was so nice seeing how you prepare for a show - Congrats Helen and King for placing 2nd and 3rd! You also did really well on the tombola. I also saw NHC journal on Have I Got News For You.
Looks like you have been busy tidying up your hamster room and mixing up batches of food. Love that Campbelly picture it is too adorable! It was so nice of Delphic to help out with the feeding - looks like he was enjoying himself in the food box!

Re: 30 Days of April
Delphic says thank you for all the lovely comments. He may be almost two but he's still a fab little guy!
Another old chap in the hamster room is Hippogriff, a LH yellow dom spot chap. He has haircuts when his fur gets too long as he tangles substrate. This pic of him if from about a month ago, just after his last trim. He'll be in need of a trip to the hamster barber's again soon!

And here's Dobby!

The Houten newbies are mostly doing well, and the girls who looked like they may be pregnant appear to have resorbed safely. One Houten-ham went to her new home at the weekend as I'd brought her back for someone else. One of the Houten-hams is a bit snuffly after the long travels from her home to Houten and then to the UK but she's slowly getting better on antibiotics.
Queenie, the girl who should have gone to Houten to live in Holland, has had a second drainage of her abscess and it so far hasn't recurred which is great news. She's much better and is starting to regrow her fur on the bald patch. She can finish her antibiotics soon and hopefully will stay well enough to go to a pet home.
And that's the end of today's episode of Vectis Hammy Hospital

Re: 30 Days of April
I'm so pleased that Queenie is doing better and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the little snuffly girl continues to improve.
