Sleep n play cheese

Hi everyone.

I recently bought the Rosewood sleep n play cheese boredom breaker and it arrived today. I noticed that after I had taken it out of the box to have a look at it that I had some yellow on my hands. I have got home and wiped it down with a damp clean cloth and the amount of yellow coming off is alarming. If it has stained my hands what will it do to Khali? I'm guessing that this isnt normal right? Is there anything I can do or should I email viovet when I got it from?

Like all things, if you have concerns don't use it but I have a similar one from p@h that does the same thing and I never had a problem with my robo when he used it. It ran if it got wet but he never pee'd on it and it never turned him yellow. Looking it up, they say they use "pet safe dye" which I assume us vegetable based.

A lot of the super colorful chews you find for small pets are dyed and that's why they run so much. It's not unusual, but I certainly wish it could be a bit more natural! I find that you can rinse a bulk of the dye off if it really bothers you

I may have to explain why I have yellow hands at uni tomorrow haha. I will leave it for a coupke of days to dry after i wiped it down earlier and then maybe let her try it. She wont ever be unsupervised with it, so if she starts turning yellow like me I'll remove it
