Re: Which Hamster Species?
I'd get a syrian and the Alaska - then a dwarf and a standard duna multy in a year's time To stack on top of the Alaska.

Re: Which Hamster Species?
I don't think the Alaska is strong enough for that Serendipity!
Think about what food you will be getting too Hammylove123, most people use Harry Hamster for syrians & Burgess dwarf hamster harvest so that's another thing you will have to decide on before you bring your ham home.

Re: Which Hamster Species?
Russians are one of my favorite species but in my area they are all mostly diabetic. I've had about 5 different hammys with diabetes. Winter whites are just as fun. I'd handle those two species before deciding. Have fun picking one out

Re: Which Hamster Species?
The maxi duna multy is a wonderful cage and would be suitable for dwarf hamsters or syrians. It is one of my fave. cages.

Re: Which Hamster Species?
I'm still not entirely sure, but I'll do my research and go and handle some dwarfs first before deciding. I've still got a month to decide luckily.
