March 1st
Many things have come about at ST's Hamstery and many new events are to come starting in April. To start you off I figured I would introduce the hamsters living here with me, I have a few who have no pictures as of yet.
First up is Fifine who came to me via a breeder who has lines going back to Brookside Hamstery. Fifine is a Long Haired Homo Poly White Yellow Black Banded Female. She ended up just a cuddley pet as she didn't take to motherhood at all.

Then we have Chaviva who is from my last breeding of Kadisha X Daniel and is a most beautiful Color in Yellow I have seen. Chaviva is a Chocolate Yellow SH Chaviva is the only Rust girl I have left who was able to conceive before becoming too old to safely breed for a 1st litter. The mate was not my planning and was her brother. However her lineage has lived to be 2 years plus some and had none of the line I had which seemed to have a heart issue. This litter my A-17 litter is of all Rust or rust combination colors and has the Polywhite gene in both Homozygous and Heterozygous. Mom being a Chocolate Yellow gave every pup the Yellow gene so I have Rust Yellow and Chocolate Yellow Males, and Rust Tort and Chocolate Tort females with there being 4 males and 6 females. Their pics and introduction will come later.

This concludes day 1 of March Tomorrow you'll meet a few more of the ladies and one of the 4 males I currently own.

Fifi and Chaviva are both gorgeous Nancy. Fifi looks like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth

They both look very happy as well.

Oh my goodness they are very beautiful girls. I don't know anything about genetics or colours so I'm hoping to have learned something by the end of the month

Beautiful photos of two gorgeous girls. Fifien looks so sweet in that photo and Chaviva colouring is stunning!

Grr had this 2nd day all ready to post and forgot the time out feature and when I sent it timed me out and all was lost

So attempt #2 for day 2 of March.
The next Hamster for you to meet is Laila. Laila is my breeding and has some big names behind her. Her sire was Benjamin who left me for the bridge at the good age of 2 years and 6 months old. Most people who see Laila often mistake her for a Sable but I can assure you she is not sable. Her sire was an Umbrous Yellow carrying Black, Rust, and his breeder suspected Cream. What Laila is though is beautiful and a very silly girl who is one of my favorites. Her Dam was Shamika who said her good byes at the age of 2 years and just 2 days shy of 2 months. Shamika was the last living pup from the SBH Amaretto X Swiss Miss(Called Stow away at SBH) Litter. There was only two pups born and the Other a Black Male failed to thrive. Here is Laila a few weeks ago a bit miffed at me for doing a full bin clean out LOL.

Laila is really an Umbrous Chocolate Tort but the only way to know this is to see her rump end as a 5 week old pup LOL In hand you can still see her tort patches if you put on a high light or have her in sunlight. She is also a backwards Hamster by being up in the day and to her nest by 11PM to be awake at around 11AM then back to bed until about 6PM and then she does that all over again.

Next up is Nainse. Nainse LOVES Me and only me. Rehomed to a super pet home Twice, both times she refused to accept her new home and began to bite and be nasty to her owners. They both took up my offer to accept back any Hamster I sell, and Nainse is now Here until she decides to go live at Rainbow bridge . Nainse just celebrated her 2 year old Birthed in January and is still going strong.

Now for the Boys, Well two of the 4 at least. First up is Abir. He is my Golden Hetero Poly white Banded Dominant Spot 5 month old. He has the potential to carry both Black and rust but until he sires a litter we won't know. His first mate will be Laila and if that doesn't take Laila will be retired as she will be past the safe age for a 1st litter. Laila should show me which (if either) gene Abir may carry.

Abir has this thing for Olive Oil and this is him whenever I lubricate his Wodent Wheel hub.

Next is Chasin.
Chasin is a Black Dominant Spot who is Heterozygous Poly White. He may carry Rust. Though he is not a good example for head shape being longer and narrower then I like he makes up for it in Fursonality.

Chasin LOVES his tub play time and if he doesn't want to go back to his cage he starts the great Chase which gave him his name. I swear Chasin knows every hide hole and way to avoid being caught until HE wants to go back to his cage. This is what you see when it is time for Tub play Time and I am too slow about it.

Chasin never fails to put a smile on the faces of everyone he meets.

Laila has such a sweet face & lovely colouring.
Nainse is lovely too, she obviously has a mind of her own lol! & is doing great for her age.

The boys are very handsome little men, I can easily see how nobody would fail to smile meeting Chasin, what a little charmer!
