Re: Top 5 buys?
Sounds good
I'm sure the wheel will be fine, they spin easily & Khaleesis will soon grow into it!

Re: Top 5 buys?
They really do grow fast!My pet shop Syrian went from 2-3 inches when I first bought her to around 4 inches within the first two months That same hamster is less than six months old and already 5 inches long when I last measured her,so don't worry that a bigger wheel somehow won't work or that she won't grow into it.If anything you save yourself from having to upgrade a wheel unless she manages to be a six inch long hamster, which is still very possible!

Re: Top 5 buys?
Inky's new Fuzzbutts Homer Stack-A-Fuzz arrived today, and it's a great size for a Syrian - I wouldn't really want it to be much bigger tbh. It has been quite a hit with her - she has spent ages climbing in and out, off and on!
In other news, I finally persuaded my partner to let me upgrade Inky to an Alexander from her Ferplast Laura / bin cage extension combo (he was originally of the opinion that the Ferplast Laura alone was more than sufficient and an "excellent cage", so this is substantial progress!). I'm quite excited now, especially as I ordered a few extra toys to go with it

Re: Top 5 buys?
Darn, now I'm going to buy even more stuff!
I'd buy everything here, but there are 2 reasons why not:
1. I live in America so I can't access basically everything on this thread.
2. Money.
Recently my dad set me on a mission: buy stuff for my dog and hamster using 50 bucks. I had a blast, but that was before I saw this thread...
Anyways, I'm probably going to post my top 5 after the new items ship.

2. Gerber's Puffs (baby cereal snack thing)
3. Grreat Choice® Tunnel of Fun Small Animal Tunnel (Petsmart) *don't forget to take out that icky fluff thing
4.Sisel Carrot Chew(Petsmart, Petco, and Amazon)
5. My Carrier (for when I have to get my cage cleaned)

Re: Top 5 buys?
@Arnie - Inky's digging tower is on the floor of her bin cage. Initially I left the base on, but that was removed (it just slides out) when she peed on it. No need to tie it on to anything. The ladder has also come off as it was a bit steep and she usually just hauls herself on top using her muscles anyway!
It's full of Fitch bedding, and she chooses to sleep there - she moved in after having rejected a small plastic shelter (since junked - it was rubbish), opting for an open nest and then going for the digging box.

Re: Top 5 buys?
The Gerber Puffs(if that is what you mean)would be very expensive in the UK due to importation costs You get a lot per container though and they've got minimal sugar(1 gram to every 60 pieces in at least one flavor),so it is a matter of figuring out how much you value them(as the cost makes them far more than you'd ever pay in the US).
Actual puffed rice however should be available just about anywhere in a grocery store, probably around cereal products.Just plain puffed rice is all you need with those, nothing with any dyes or added sugar or preservatives.
