Oh my goodness! What cuteness! I am sure Mr. Bambi will come around soon and will be tamed in no time.

He's adorable.
I always wanted a strawberry hideout like that but I thought they were too small for syrians. I know yours isn't fully grow, do you think it would be ok for an adult hamster?

Re: Today is the day...
For a fully grown Syrian it may not be suitable. Syrians do vary in size some are smaller than others so you may or may not be able to use it as a hide away. I'd prob be inclined to say no from memory I think it is quite small.

Re: Today is the day...
The strawberry is definitely more of a dwarf sized hideout,or a hideout for baby Syrians(adults wouldn't be under 4 inches plus a 3 inch opening to account for fully expanded pouches is definitely not what the strawberry has, therefore definitely not for adult Syrians).

Aww, what a sweet little lad he is Barley. He looks so tiny.
I'm sure he'll be very happy in his new home with you.

One of my Chinese has one and I know that it certainly would have been too small for my sister's Syrian. To me it seems a little bit on the small side for James (he's quite a long Chinesey) but he's had it since he came to live with me and would miss it if I took it off of him and gave it to one of the girls.

Re: Today is the day...
Sorry I had missed the question about the strawberry hide - definitely too small for an adult Syrian!
