Re: 28 Days of February 2017
It is lovely remembering him in his happier healthier times. I couldn't put music to it as it choked me up too much - plus there is Youtube copyright so his favourite songs weren't allowed. I shall try not to be too sad but I miss him so much. I didn't think I could do a tribute so soon after, but it did help to remember happy memories rather than just remembering the last week. I hope it didn't upset anyone too much xxx But Charlie was known by all of you so the tribute is for everyone.

Re: 28 Days of February 2017
Lovely photo of you and the chimp Serendipity! I love old photos, I think that the grey shades and the old fashion clothes make them so special. I also had to suffer that kind of haircut when I was a child and I said never again! Everybody though that I was a boy. The next 15 years I barely cut my hair and I had such a long hair (as you have). I had to cut my hair 3 years ago and I thought that maybe It will fit me because my face had change, but I was horrified again. Now I really mean that I'm not going to cut so short my hair again.
Charlie's video is a wonderful tribute. He would be very proud and he would like you to be happy, so try not to be sad. I hope you get better with time.

Re: 28 Days of February 2017
Yes everyone thought I was a boy too! At least I had a dress on in that photo. My Mum decided we should have a "Mia Farrow" cut (really showing my age there) because a) it was fashionable and b) we were going camping in Italy and she thought we would get too hot with long hair. I just got a sunburned neck instead lol. But my Dad bought me a lovely scarf from Venice to cover my neck so all ended well. I keep my hair long now because it grows so fast It's easy and saves a fortune in hairdressing

I think if you'd put a song to Charlie's tribute, I would still be crying now. The pics, the silence was absolutely perfect.

Re: 28 Days of February 2017
I didn't feel like it, but once I started it brought back happy memories and helped a bit to remember how he was. Once I tried putting music to it I bawled my eyes out. I think it's better silent too. I did feel maudlin afterwards though. The house feels empty without him But he was beautiful wasn't he?
