Re: Freddy - the ballet hamster
Awwwww he's very sweet.
I'm not particularly fond of red eyes, but I think that's a stupid motive to not adopt a beautiful hamster as Freddy. Poor thing

Re: Freddy - the ballet hamster
Freddy is so handsome - can't see why no one would want him! He looks so sweet at the cage bars wanting sunflower seeds.

Awe, he's plenty adorable! What a kind thing to do, take him in when nobody else would. He looks like a little bundle of personality

Re: Freddy - the ballet hamster
Well I dunno, they could have fed hubby a line but with lots of Russian dwarfs up for adoption the general outlook is that red eyes struggle to find a home more than their brown eyed competition so can often be waiting a lot longer.
Although we have a Chinese hamster brown eyed... that was in rescue for 9 months and had been moved around 3 times in a bid to find him a home. I walked in and immediately said - a Chinese amazing - must have him now! Lol.
Luck of the draw I guess. We generally like to adopt the ones that are struggling as I don't care what they look like. If we have a spare cage... Fill it with the one that's struggling - so for me it works in their favour

Re: Freddy - the ballet hamster
Ahhh he's so lovely well done on giving him a great home!
I've seen a few little hams needing homes recently but HamsterDad won't let me have any more (yet!).
