Post Should I Go To the Next Step? (and what should I do from here?)

Milly has been having no problem taking treats from the middle of my hand and even sitting on my hand while eating them too since today. She likes to run under my arm while my hand is in the cage when she's awake. So I ask should I move on after another day of this? and what's next?

I would go to the next step tomorrow or the day after if she keeps being this confident.

Try raising your hand slowly whenever she is on it. If she jumps down it's fine, if she stays, give her another treat
You can work on lifting your hand higher and higher depending on how she reacts. Place your hand down again slowly and let her waddle off herself

good start. Unfortunately, every hammie is different and you can read more from the other members here. I have always got my Campbells from breeders and they were always pre-tamed, so had no 'taming' problems. Just take it slowly, to gain her trust. Afterwards it should be easy, Nothing fast or drastic, as they are nervous little creatures

I would say it's probably time for the next step, your ham sounds like she's gaining confidence and trusts you. Like penguin says, try to slowly raise your hand with her in it. Talk to her calmly to comfort her, and reward her for good reactions. Good luck with your little one
