Penny's turn today  She is a LH red eyed cream banded from Serendipity Hamstery, and is quite a character! she never really liked being held in your hand, but once she's out of her cage, she loves to run around and explore, and will climb all over you to get to wherever she wants

Yesterday I decided to build a Stylish playpen. I thought I'd build a white one instead though, as it still lets some light through.
I still have some extra pieces that I can add to this to make it bigger, or make a separate one. This is what I put Penny in when I'm handling the babies, and she gets to relax for a bit.
Penny has lost some of her curves because of the babies, and is a bit scruffier than usual, but I don't think she looks too bad to say she's raising 12 babies

Oh that first pic of Penny by the sea grass tunnel is adorable! That play pen looks great too! Is it easy for nosy hamster to get under though or is is quite heavy? (Asking for future reference!)

If in doubt you could always make it a rectangle or square and make a bottom for it out of the same panels as the sides

I have those squares for a playpen too. For guinea pigs (once they come). I think that my Kashi (girl syrian) would easily chomp through those.
