Max is such a handsome hamster - those photos of him are so lovely.
Penny and her pups breakfast looked good and I'm sure they must have all enjoyed it.

Max is a gorgeous boy. I took a look to the amaisies thread and it's lovely. My heart melted with all those pups running through your arms. they were so sweet.

I Hope we can see some of those vids with the rupennies. They had a really ham feast yesterday.

Aww thanks everyone, Penny and babies are eating more and more each day - that pic was just breakfast! I put the same amount in 2-3 times a day and it doesn't last long. I normally increase it to 2 dishes once they all start venturing out, so they all get a space around a dish

Here is a picture of Penny's 'baby tub' for anyone interested, it is an Ikea SAMLA transparent box, which fits perfectly on my Ikea IVAR shelving unit.

I put some black sticky back plastic on the outside around the bottom, to give Penny some privacy. You don't have to do this but I felt that it would benefit Penny as she doesn't like open spaces.

For the water bottle, a hole was drilled into the plastic (obviously before we put Penny in!

) and I used some Command mini hooks attached to the outside, and an elastic band to keep the bottle on.

We made sure the water bottle was quite low so that when the babies start to use it, they can easily reach it.

I also attached a net curtain rod across the top and put these thin curtains over the whole unit, which keeps it looking tidy, and gives Penny some further privacy.

Sam's turn today

he's an umbrous cinnamon from my last litter, and we call him Tiny Sam, as he's never really grown that much! he's healthy other than just being small

Umbrous colours tend to go more orange with age, and as he's an umbrous cinnamon, it just looks like the umbrous has worn off

On a slightly different note, I tried to change my image hosting website to Imgur instead of Photobucket, as I was getting a lot of adverts on the page that were slowing the site down. Unfortunately, when I put the pictures of Sam up, I didn't realise they were made public, and I got some nasty comments. So my recommendation is that if you do use Imgur, please make your posts private if you don't want people (trolls) commenting.

WOW. He looks completely different. If I had to guess, I would say that the pics are from different hamsters.

He's a cutie anyway.

I love the shopping cart pic. I also have one, and now I have to try to take a similar one

I didn't know about imgur comments. How do I know if I have comments on my pics? Well, it's not that I care about trolls but... It's good to know. I don't know how anybody could say something wrong about these hamster pictures, what's wrong with them?
