I can't give you the measurements as I don't have a full bag but it's like a bean bag really, quite comfy to sit on too!

Re: alternatives to carefresh
I'm not gonna lie, Fitch is a REALLY comfy bean bag lol. I have the 20kg bag which makes it even better . I just sit on a Fitch bean bag and watch Oreo play, despite having his cage wedged next to a sofa lol.
I'm not too sure if the measurements either, since I have the 20kg bale, but I cannot recommend the bedding enough for guinea pigs and hamsters.

Re: alternatives to carefresh
I've been recommended here to use fitch as a substrate for Daisy since she was also having some problems with aspen bedding and now I'm wondering how much 20kg or 10kg of fitch is in litres?
I usually fill up the cage with 60L of bedding and now I'm not sure if I should order 2 bags of 20kg or maybe just even one 10kg bag since I read the bags are quite big. My cage measurements are 80x70x55

Re: alternatives to carefresh
If you're going to fill the cage from empty then I would go for a 20kg bag & that will last you ages, a 10kg bag may do a couple of cage fills, not really sure now as it's been a while since I set up a new cage that size, I only do partial cage cleans & do use some hemp as well but even with 4 hams 10kgs lasts me ages just for top ups after cleaning.

Re: alternatives to carefresh
Thank you for the reply. I will then go for the 20KG and see how much there will be over left after one entire fill up (:
