Do hamsters have red eyes???
I just noticed that when in the light my hammy had red-ish eyes. Like you can actually see the detail in it. Is this normal or concerning? Thanks.
He's a Russiand Dwarf BTW

Re: Do hamsters have red eyes???
Red eyes are normal Hamster eyes are either red or black. If your hamster's eyes seem irritated though it might be good to think about things which could cause problems in your hamster's cage,as well as taking your hamster to a vet.

Re: Do hamsters have red eyes???
The hamsters can have a red eye gene so even with dark eyes, the eyes will appear red at times, in certain lights. Pretty sure of that anyways
