Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
The pink lady gave me a walnut, but it's a little shy. Maybe some of my friends here at hamster central can help me encourage it to come out of it's shell?
Also, I love my edible bowl, don't know why they had to put flowers and stuff in it though… they tell really insulting jokes

Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
Aww bless her getting the walnut in the end. Love her determination, I buy the ones that aren't in shells but seeing Zelda get it out has me thinking Harvey could too.

Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
It's actually still not out. She has gotten to about half of it I think. I crack I "snout" sized hole so she can just about get to it and she does the rest herself. I've tried giving just whole walnuts but they loose interest after a couple of tries without reward. This way she gets a little bit out of it each time

Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
She finally got the rest of the walnut out and I gave her a new one… with an even smaller hole
Also, she is apparently now a little fatty at 62 grams, so we are focusing on vegetable treats

hehehe she's a little ball of fur. They are so cute when they're eating, it's hard to be strong and not over feed them

Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
I say she looks cute cause my WW hybrid only weighs 26 grams in her old age. One of my robo's weigh more than Chloe. I would love for her to get chubby, but that's never going to happen
