Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
Ahh Zelda is so cute! My little robo is called Link as well. Maybe some day he'll come to rescue her from the walnut, or maybe the other way around!

Knowing zelda, she will rescue the walnut from link
But the thought og link the robo carrying zelda, the 60 gram hybrid...
She has been in need of a little rescuing lately though. We bought her a new waterbottle, and she just can't seem to figure out where the water comes out. It has been such a problem that after a week og trying to get her to figure it out and quite a bit of cucumber, when she didn't, we had to give her the old one back.
The new one is the sippy from ferplast.

Agreed, Link is so scared of everything. He doesn't really live up to his name much.
Have you tried a water bowl? Some hamsters just work better with them, my old Syrian did.

Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
I am NEVER giving her a waterbowl again! She walks in it, she tips it over, she buries it, she even tries to live under it! She is a straight up bully when it comes to waterbowls!
We have conceded, and given her her old traditional waterbottle back. The other one would just have been so much easier to clean

Lol, I tried my guys with a blueberry each a while back (I know fruit isn't good for hybrids but they'd never had anything like that before). One acted like we were trying to poison him and the others took barely a nibble before throwing it away. I was dissapointed, I'd been secretly looking forward to seeing them all covered in blueberry juice lol.
Sorry she didn't get on with her new water bottle or bowl. Zelda is very much a lady who knows what she wants though so I'll bet you're not all that surprised

Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
Same here. We let her taste when Romeo gets some, but she doesn't get it regularly.
I had feared she was to set in her ways by the way she drinks of the old waterbottle, we call her the machine gun

Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
Zelda does the machine gun for minutes. Sometimes i think she gets distracted or something and she starts licking the side of it instead and she barely gets anything out of it.

Re: Zelda and the cowardly walnut!
Lol. The raspberry should go the other end Zelda. Blackberry can be quite messy to.
