Re: A dilemma!
I'm not sure if I could The bin cage shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to make, and I do have an empty 20 gallon long tank to put her in while I build the tank which I can just clean out and disinfect later before I get the gerbils! However I have to buy the bin first as it is the only thing I don't have while I have mesh and zip ties.
I could get Reggie Rat and also boost protein,if that would work! The UK version gives 14% protein and the US one should too,so if I can use that with Mazuri lab blocks or if just giving mealworms or other protein every day would work that could be a good option as well.I'm not entirely sure though

Re: A dilemma!
Yes,I am!I was trying to make a thread on that for over 2 weeks now but I can never seem to do so and actually know what to say when I try to
I already have a name picked out for the very cheeky girl, which is Lucille. It actually has to do with it being a song that played in the car on the way home that day,and I've always been very fond of the name. So,she'd be named after a Little Richard song!

Re: A dilemma!
That's a nice name Hope she's yours, would be nice if you could do what Serendipity said and reserve her over the phone, ask if they take credit cards Lol

Re: A dilemma!
Thanks I'd definitely try if I had my own credit card!I will keep that in mind for future hams or other pets though I can only hope that I get to go tomorrow, and that if I do she is still there.
There was another ham in the same enclosure that was very cute, but I prefer her very demanding and attention seeking(so far)personality over the one that the other had which was seemingly very laid back if not a bit shy.

Re: A dilemma!
I'd probably try and see if I could interact with the shy one first, and if it doesn't feel right I'd wait until another hamster captivates me this much.

Re: A dilemma!
I had that choice when I adopted Izzy, she was the more shy one than her sister Lulu who got adopted first. I had a chance but I missed it, I took too long to think about it. But I took Izzy home anyways. I never hardly see her except at feeding time, better than nothing though.
