I bought Arun (fluffy cream syrian hamster) just because he was sooo beautiful. No regrets. I adore him.

Best of luck. Looking forward to photos!

A large bin cage will be fine Don't worry about moving - your hammy will be happy as long as you are still there and her bin smells familiar Or are you going to be moving long distance?

It shouldn't be too much distance. However now I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to go today and might have to go tomorrow I can only hope for the best though,so hopefully she will still be there.

My only other problem now will be actually getting the food, which if all else fails I can temporarily use the Carefresh hamster food just to have something while I order Hazel Hamster or try and find it in another Petco as the one near me for whatever reason doesn't have it!

I might have to order it then,if I don't find it of course.I still have one Petco to check so hopefully they'll have it,but if not I'll just have to find something that can work unless I get next day shipping.

I'll try and get Mazuri lab blocks first though,or if I could feed Higgins alone for a day or so and then use it as a treat mix later that would be another possible option.

It's very strange though, the local Petco carried some other Supreme products like Reggie Rat(which unfortunately wouldn't have quite enough protein for either gerbils or hamsters)but didn't have Hazel Hamster

That's great you must have Amazon Prime? I think the stock in Pet-Co is the same across the country, as far a Hazel Hamster goes...

What pet store are you adopting her from?

I'd be ordering it off Petco which offer next day shipping. If it is a bit ridiculous in difference to regular shipping, which it probably is,I'll just get something else anyways and use it until I get Hazel Hamster.

She isn't an adoption ham unfortunately, but I can certainly say that she'll be getting a loving home if I do get her! She's a Petco hamster which isn't ideal but of course when you feel a connection with an animal those things tend to matter less

That's true, go with you heart and if your heart is set on her & your waiting so if she's still there that will be even more obvious that she's yours

Could you ring up and "book" her?! How long will it take to get the bin cage ready also? I'm sure you're on with that already
