Default Hamsterlopaedia!

I received this book this morning. Got it second hand for just £1 for that and two other books! It is in excellent condition. Anyway, I've flicked through it - not had time to have a proper read yet - but wondered how good people find it? I know a lot of people recommend it? I also got a book on Dwarf hamsters (just in case ) which again I've flicked through but it looks good. (Does anyone know if it's any good?) The third book (the one in the middle in the first pic), well it was written for children but talks about giving hamster fluffy bedding among other things so that book will be binned!

It's a highly recommended book I got my copy second hand as well, on Amazon - might be the only way to get hold of them now I think. I can't actually find mine now! But I seem to remember there was a lot on anatomy and physiology plus illness and habits and some bits were really good and some bits a bit technical.

Some things are rather dated now but the general info is really good, well worth having I think.
I like technical, anatomy, physiology & that kind of stuff so it's my kind of book

As other people have said, some of the stuff might be considered a little bit dated now but it's still a very good book and well worth reading if you're looking for a bit more detail than most hamster books will go into. The authors are well known exhibitors in the hamster showing world and have been keeping hamsters for many years and inevitably will have picked up a few things in their time which they've passed on in this book.

It's one of my favourite books.
