Updates and Ideas
Hi all!
Been a little while since I've been active, so just thought I'd show my face again!
How is everybody? Hope you and your furries are all well!
I've recently applied for a job at Pets At Home and was surprised when I went today for a job trial at how brilliantly they look after the little ones in the store I've applied at. They genuinely really care, and all have pets of their own. I think it's fantastic actually - the rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs all seemed calm, relaxed and happy and were showing no signs of stress.
So... I may be planning something... Something furry... And huge...
I'm going to divide my room into two using IKEA Kallax shelves, so that half of my room will then be for me, and half will be for... you guessed it - the hammies!!
I'm super excited about this as it means both me and the hamsters will have out own space to relax.
Let me know if any of you have any big hamstery ideas forming!!

Re: Updates and Ideas
Sounds good
I always have way too many hamstery ideas too lol! I wish they could all become real but the hams & all their stuff take up most of my house as it is!

One day they will - keep your dreams at the back of your mind until they can come forward again, when they are ready to re-appear!
Thank you

Re: Updates and Ideas
I've recently set up a hamster room myself in what used to be my study.
At the moment it's home to James, Victoria and Nobby (who is here on loan) whilst Jessie and Henry are downstairs. I still need to buy some proper shelving units to put the cages on though. I was thinking of something like this: 4 Tier Wire Shelving at Argos
I look forward to seeing how your hamster space turns out.

Re: Updates and Ideas
Another idea is stacking wire cages. This is especially useful for larger cages,as once you have more than just one or two for example square meter cages they're not going to be easy to find room for. However, the ease of stacking wire cages does make it more practical This can apply to any size wire cage though!

Awh wow that sounds amazing! I'm afraid your link says access denied, not sure if it works but a little worried about testing it out haha!
Thank you!
