My guinea pigs had a sea grass tunnel. They destroyed it lol . The tunnel is no more. I think it would be too big for Jasper but he might like it.

Right I need to remind Santa Paws to get Jasper a Sputnik lol! Charlie looks very cute in those photos!

So I got the Puzzle Playground and bendy bridge today.

I had a lot of frustration setting up the Puzzle Playground, which I spent 2 hours on, but I set it up really nicely. Maybe not worth the £8.99 I spent but anyway. It's from Amazon and is the 42 piece set.

The bendy bridge seems a little flimsy. I removed all the metal hooks from them too - I recommend this for safety reasons. Luckily, I bought it for decoration purposes in the cave more than anything . It was around £5, also from Amazon.

The hyacinth tunnel might be too big for Jasper but the small sea grass tunnel is the perfect size for little dwarf hams, at least three of mine had them & loved them.

I am sure Jasper would love the smaller sputnik I find they work best if access is good to them and they can't fall too high from them if jumping out. I had the small one over a shelf for that reason. The big one can big filled with bedding too I have that next to a shelf with one entrance near the bars in case of climbing out and the other entrance blocked by a tube leading to a shelf. So basically access is via the shelf or the tube from the other shelf Or climbing the bars to get in

A sputnik might work better on the floor of the cage for a dwarf maybe.
I've only ever used one with Zephyr & even with a piece of hemp mat, some substrate & food hidden in it she wasn't that interested, just used to zoom through it on her route around the upper levels!

It would need to be on the floor due to the flimsy mesh lid I have for his cage! Might look for a tunnel when I head to P@H and Poundland later (and Starbucks but that's not for Jasper!) ;.

I've finally tested his new toys here so I'll give a little summary.

The log bridge, link here, looks quite good in Jasper's cage. I'm using it to separate his sand bath and substrate currently. It does actually hold his weight to so he can climb on it! This was tested out in play time by Jasper .

Jasper also got a Puzzle Playground, courtesy of my Amazon voucher. I made a nice little "L" shaped house with a little triangular tower on one cube. I also attached the bridge/ladder thing so he can get up on top. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo. It was EXTREMELY fiddly, but Jasper seems to really like it and has been sleeping inside. I think it's too small for a Syrian.

Pinkneon sent me Sweep's car which Jasper also likes. I think it's from P@H but I'm not too sure so I can't say much about it.

I picked up a couple of ceramic items from Poundland the other day. Jasper isn't particularly interested in either . I got a red heart cat bowl and a ghost tealight holder. Jasper sniffed the holder, but that's it . At least it was only £1!

The bridges do have multiple uses & I always keep a few spare as they come handy for all sorts!
I bought one of those puzzle playground things for my very first ham, they really are fiddly, as soon as I got it together it would fall apart again lol! Then my ham didn't even like it, typical
Definitely too small for a syrian.

Give Jasper time, he might enjoy his ceramic toys yet!

I think the puzzle playground could be arranged in a way using several kits for a Syrian, but definitely not as one kit or with the ladder or holes it comes with. They are expensive though even in the US where they're from

Mine has stopped falling apart now - a good use of 2 hours but I'll do it for my baby.

I LOVE bendy bridges - my guinea pigs have about 5-6 and Jasper has four . They are very handy for everything. I like them for travelling and travel cages as they have multiple uses (he can climb on top).

He might do. I also bought him another three ceramic tealight holders from Poundland today - a green ghost thing with a massive open mouth, a white cylinder with a smiley face and "BOO!" written across the bottom (entry at back) and finally an orange pumpkin with a star pattern (entrance at back).

Links to my ceramic items:
Green one. Would make a nice sand bath !
White ghost with BOO! on it
Orange pumpkin tealight holder
The one Jasper ignored lol
Can't find a link to his new heart sand bath .
Also picked up these lights as they had a limited range of lights .

They were also selling suction cups for window decorations but I got a pack as they will be very useful for tanks and tank-style cages like mine. 12 for £1!

I'm wondering if this could be any good as a level or something?

Also had a look in P@H - no Christmas stuff on display for the small animals, despite what the website says. A few Halloween dog outfits lying around. Saw a few Christmas/Winter themed teddies lying around. I didn't end up buying anything.

Got some black paper from HobbyCraft for the back of LJ's cage as I can't find any potential Halloween backing paper. They're selling masses of Halloween tinsel for £1 so I bought one of those (it's black with orange pumpkins).

I'm also planning some DIYs from a few YouTube videos (ErinsAnimals and HoppingHammy) so if they work out, I'll share them along with Jasper's cage .

I do like the green ghoul & the pumpkin lol! Might have to get my hands on something like that

I'm not sure about the cupcake stand, it would probably be a bit flimsy, I'm guessing it's just thin card so the top might not be stable & it could easily be chewed possibly resulting in a fall.

Funnily enough I went to Poundland yesterday too! I saw those little ghost things but thought that Sweep was far to big to fit in them! But I did manage to get him some biscrok dogs biscuits
