re: Food and other items for a new Syrian?
Hi all again! :3 I can change still my things on viovet since they're allocating stock x3
Someone told me for plastic ( if I travel or so) I got one for my rats and it's nice but I wanted to try crystal ones x3 (I still took two plastic https://www.viovet.co.uk/Ferplast_Dr...Bottle&sct_r=1) is more or less the same that my rats got been using it for two years and no problem yet but I can delete it and put two crystal ones what do you think? and about those toys it said Out of stock since Fri 9th Sep 2016, due back soon :/
Should I get one and wait or maybe try to get in the next shop when I get HH
(I think I did update a pic about her and one of her sisters from the person that got her but not sure if this will appear haha)
Thanks for teach me how to update pictures! I know both ways now :3

re: Food and other items for a new Syrian?
Aww they look lovely & really sweet in the photos
If you're used to those bottles then there's no reason why you shouldn't stick with what you know, I've never used them so I can't really comment.
Viovet can be a bit of a pain with out of stock items sometimes, I don't order from there very often but have had problems with stock, maybe you could email them & ask just when they expect them in.
You don't need all the toys at once so don't worry if you have to wait until you do another order for some.

re: Food and other items for a new Syrian?
Those Ferplast drinky ones are good! I would stick with them. I have the smaller sized version of those - the 75ml. I prefer them to the crystal ones.
Is your hamster the one on the right? She's looking at you

re: Food and other items for a new Syrian?
We seem to have gone off of the original subject a bit.
Please can we stick to discussing home-made mixes in this thread and start a new thread in the housing section of the forum if you'd like to discuss cages and setting them up. This will make things a bit easier for everyone to follow and contribute to if they have any ideas.
Thanks.

re: Food and other items for a new Syrian?
A bit later for that haha but I'm still going to try make "my own mix for my syrian hamster" when I read all information etc will try calculete everything and after that post here for opinions. (really wanna try this )
My first thought was ask about a mix but I ended asking about everything, no just housing things, (food, toys, accesories, etc) just last things are about cages (since I was really confused about which one to take and which one was better etc) but people here helped me and got all the information I needed, just need ideas or opinions about mix for syrian hamster and the experience with their own mix bla bla bla the post was ended about cages and housing things anyway ^^
I think still for someone will adopt or buy a hamster all information is here haha

re: Food and other items for a new Syrian?
Maybe the thread needs a new name now, something like food & essentials for a new ham

That, I can do
I've also moved this thread so it will now appear under 'Hamster Chat' instead of 'Nutrition'.
